What do you look for in a Drawing Tablet?

My wacom is outdated. (Not to mention my computer).
What are some top notch drawing tablets? What are the quality ones that people dream of, and what are the ones you prefer to use?

I personally prefer to use my tablet pc, it has the same features as most same size tablets ie: 256 levels, plus my model has touchscreen which allows to use either wacom stylus or finger (stylus has priority). I find it much better to draw directly on the screen and then it's the same price as a cintiq without the need to have a computer next to it.
