Please help a good artist...

Hello, thanks for reading. Sorry for not knowing exactly how to approach this, since I've never written a journal of this nature before, but I want to help a friend of mine who is a highly underrated artist get a few more potential customers by posting something about it on my FA journal.
My friend's name is
garu, and this is his first time taking commissions. When I found out that so far he hasn't had many (any?) customers, it made me kinda sad -- Mr. Garu recently took up a job working many hours at a pay rate that many people where I come from would call unfair wages, just so he could save up to visit the US. Specifically, he wants to go to AnthroCon in July! Because I knew that he could do a lot more for himself in the long run by taking commissions, I'd always given him the encouragement to try and take a few to help him pay for his trip, and to build confidence in becoming a better artist. The supplemental income would help so that hopefully in the long run he doesn't end up stuck in a crappy below-minimum-wage job forever, and has some freedom to further pursue his career as well.
Now, all I'm asking is for you guys to take a look at his art and see if you like it. Maybe consider getting your character drawn, or recommending Garu to somebody who likes his style of kemono art. I think his rates are reasonable, and as a bonus, he's an up-and-coming artist who's improving rapidly, so it's a good opportunity to get something neat at a good price before demand is high xD
Here is one of his latest works, and it is a really good example of what you can expect to get.
So what do you guys think? Maybe you can help out a friend of mine? I'd be pretty grateful if I helped with even just one commission, and I'm sure he would be too!
Here's his commissions journal detailing rates and samples:

Thanks again guys for reading this journal.
