few ideas i had were
1. a theme for the con so badges are homecon themed. i think that would help with more people wanting to buy
2. SHIRTS! you could hold a contest the month before for a HOMECON THEMED shirt! i had people telling me they wished they could have a shirt!
just some ideas though ^^
