Time for a Personal Update

It's been quite a while since I've posted a personal journal entry so I guess it's about time.
It's been a busy year. The studio has been on overdrive most of the time. We had a very productive summer and early fall. Me and the studio also went through a successful move a couple months back to a new larger home and studio location. It was a colossal amount of work and headache at the time, but we managed to acquire a ton more room and even some new equipment. They will definitely be a benefit in the long run. I also had a really good time going to Rainfurest this year with my boyfriend
WereWolfRedx We had an awesome time meeting up with lots of our friends and made some new ones. It was a very good con!
There has been some more difficult experiences recently as well. My mother has been serious condition in the hospital for the last month and a bit. The situation came out of the blue for us. The doctors are still doing their thing and we will have to wait and see how things work out. At this point we're hoping she will be able to come home in time for Christmas. We will have to wait and see.
Mostly I'm just keeping focused on work and doing my best to be there for my mom when I can. My boyfriend and I have canceled our plans to go to Midwest Fur Fest, but we hope to attend other cons in the coming year. Right now we're keeping busy with the studio and making the best of things. We do have a lot of good things underway, and we have hope that the coming months will see things looking up for my mom and all of us having a very good new year.
