NaNo Novel: Here Falls The Thunder
To all my loyal readers,
I was more than a little shocked. My controversial series on the state of affairs in the school went over better than I thought. I was fully expecting to come to school the next day to find a slew of nasty emails and letters, my locker trashed, perhaps even my desk in school defaced. But the reasonable responses and insightful comments from my audience, leads me to believe that my audience actually saw through my overtly confrontational tone.
I do apologize for that tone. At first, I was merely reporting the state of affairs, but as I continued to read and write, I found myself growing more and more angry and passionate about the subject, to the point that I probably gave myself cramps with how furiously I was typing. And I did receive a talking to from the Editor-In-Chief about my language, as a well as a lecture from Vice Principal Perjan. Perhaps the only thing that saved me from suspension is the fact that I had a good track record with the paper and as a student, and this was my first serious deviation.
But all the same, I'm glad that the student body at least on some level agrees with my words. I underestimated the intellect and reasoning capabilities of my fellow students, and I assure you I will not be foolish the next time. Don't worry though, I won't likely be approaching such a hot and steamy topic anytime soon!
However, I do have a plan for my next series of articles, however. I'll be doing a series of reports and in-depth looks at a number of up-and-coming teams from each grade level!

While there was dissagreement on many points, I believe it was good to a get a meaningful conversation started, rather than just an insult war. So even if I disagreed with you on some points, thank you.
I look forward to reading your team reviews; nothing like some good intel to take ones mind of social strife. *wink*

I must say that you wrote and raised several valid points and presented them in an intelligent (if a bit over passionate) way, even if I did disagree with a few of the points in retrospect. I do hope you'll continue to provide us with more information in your future works.
Sincerly,
Unlucky.
Why are ya fretting? Your articles told the unfortunate truth that nobody wants to hear. When people hear it, they'll lash out, but ultimately and grudgingly nod. I've seen it in a couple of friends and their rivals. I'm loving the results.
We can't wait until your next series of articles.

As I'd told you personally earlier, despite the tone of the article being a bit fiery it was a topic that still needed to be brought out into the open. Considering that some destructive actions have already been taken due to opinions that are the exact reverse of what you stated, it's for the best that we address the subject now and bring awareness to it, rather than sweep it under the rug and hope that it doesn't boil over like has happened in the past.
I certainly hope that you'll see fit to speak your mind more often, regardless of whether or not the opinions you present are popular. Sometimes it takes someone saying what you don't want to hear before the entire issue makes sense to everyone.
Regards,
Eddie Bischoff Jr.
We loved your expose on the school rules and Principal Felinduce, but we felt that there were certain areas of the report that were, for lack of a better term, dead wrong. Felinduce was not, nor will he ever be, an uncaring, innatentive ne'er-do-well with lax judgement and weak moral fibers. We aren't even fully sure what those words mean, but we've been guaranteed that they are quite negative as far as comnts go. We also believe that the recent "pranks", as you so lightly call them, were a necessary evil. How else would the school wake up from the morose cloud surrounding us like a fog...of evil...and stuff? I know that we aren't making our point very clear, so let's cut to the chase. Keep making negative comments towards Mr. Felinduce and we will be forced to take action against the school paper. We would also like a full apology written out by friday when we make our decision on the outcome of your precious newspaper. We won't do any damage. We aren't as stupid as you make us out to be. But trust us when we say that the outcome wont be very "good for business". We await your apology with patience. Also, if you see Darius, tell him to suck it.
Sincerely,
(Name was scratched out)
P.S. Are You Happy Yet?
