Why isn't Spider-man a Villain?

Now don't get me wrong, I like Spider-man. However, I've noticed that Spider-man aka Peter Parker has a life Full of misfortunes that make Charlie Brown's life look more upbeat. Hell in a Wizard magazine, someone said that When Peter Parker is not fighting crime as Spider-man, he's miserable. We all know that Spider-man chooses to be a hero because of his "with great power, comes great responsibility" shtick. However, with all of his troubles in his life, why should he be a hero? His parents and uncle dead, he's teased by his classmates, having difficult paying bills, losing Gwen Stacy, being cloned and told that he wasn't the real Peter Parker, being hated by the public thanks to J.J Jameson and his smear campaign against the wall-crawler, being viewed as a criminal by the cops, not getting a thank you for his heroism and losing his marriage to Mary Jane. If Spider-man didn't have a guilt complex, he could have killed Jonah Jameson and anyone who would give him a hard time. Hell he already made a deal with the devil, so he got his foot forward into villainy.
But he could have morphed into a villain since before uncle ben died, he was exploiting his powers for personal gain. I can imagine a scenario occurring that if Uncle Ben was instead diagnosed with cancer or liver failure or whatever instead, and his insurance screwed him over denying life saving medication for him. Being betrayed by society as a whole like that, and doing what was necessary to help his uncle, maybe he would rob some of those armored bank cars that seem to be everywhere in Marvel's NY, and would start to feel more comfortable spitting in the face of the law and society as a whole.
Anyways I think the "sinister 6" movie will have a lot more compelling storytelling and characters with more relate-able impulses and feelings than spiderman's seem to be. apparently the focus is on the villains which has never been done in a superhero movie franchise before.
damn I hate it when I stop typing and I forget a chunk of somewhat pertinent info that makes the whole statement seem weird :P
