I joined this site 7 years ago.
Seven whole years of bugs, glitches, promises that were never kept by admins.
I was here through the chewfox drama and seen many a user get banned for saying negative things about this website on completely unrelated websites.
I've commissioned Dragoneer in the past for his old "Iron Artist" that basically slumped after only 6 or 7 commissions, yes I got a refund but it really shows how irresponsible this person is.
I'm sure Dragoneer's not a bad person but he is simply not cut out to run a website like this.
Nothing has changed in 7 whole years, and there have been promises over and over for changes. There have been a lot of attacks and leaks on this website too, like when every ones PMs were leaked out to the public.
The servers are still crap, the size limitations are archaic, the thumbnails are still broken. Whenever a new feature is added, it adds more bugs that don't get fixed for years.
The commission page was broken for years, the search option, etc etc. Whenever anything breaks or bugs, it takes far too long for people to fix.
The bottom line is, I don't feel safe on this website.
I don't feel comfortable posting my content any more.
And I don't really feel I have anywhere else reliable to go right now, and that's half the reason why most people are still stuck on this ancient website that is being run by a bunch of lazy incompetence and procrastination that is just inexcusable.
Plenty of good coders would be willing to work for pay and FA has made enough money through donations and ads to afford this.
They ask for donations for things that have never been updated or changed. They need to get donations and actually use them to improve the website rather than clinging to mods, coders, and admins who are clearly not doing their jobs.
So, yeah, that's pretty much the rundown. I'm sorry I haven't been posting here.

I cling to this website because i found a great community within here but you are so right about all those things they need fixing so bad
But they deserve better.
Hell, they haven't even fixed something as simple as the damn emoticons.

People would draw that shit for free, meanwhile we still have Robot Boobs.
Remember how many times they promised to upgrade the emoticons?
Yeah.
When you can't even do that, what does that tell people about the rest of your website?

This site is super vulnerable to attack and when the admins aren't reliable, I can't trust I'll be okay here.
So yeah I just wish and begged this site would updated like the promises they bring oh and remember the Donation Medals they would give us for suporrting the site? I just wish they could just update the site without telling anyone so no one would attack the author from an incident he/she did in the past, just give us a big surprise FA!

But yeah if FA can give us like a damn redesign Surprise without anyone knowing then that can be very very nice... Oh man I remember that Alert Pay scandal when FA lost it, it was sad but damn that felt like their stocks just crashed.
I definitely recommend Weasyl. It's a nice up and coming site with lots of shiny features that's furry ran, but friendly to most everything. :)
