Alrighty. *starts doodling to get a good feel for the design* He looks like the kind of guy you'd randomly see relaxing somewhere.

Are the clothes required? I'm having a hard time seeing how the belt is shaped because it's such a dark color. I don't want to mess it up and I'd rather not leave out just one part. Do you happen to have a better ref of it?

Okay, I'm actually done with the drawing but as I was cleaning up the area around it my dad saw it and said that people might take it the wrong way because the legs are slightly spread (not in a yiffy way) instead of clamped together (which I imagine wouldn't be very comfortable at all). His crotch isn't visible, and he's in what I think looks like a comfortable position for an anthropomorphic dog to be in. Is that okay? I know I'm doing this for free and all but I'm concerned that what my dad said was true and that it will be taken in a way I don't want it to be.

Alright. I couldn't get the colors exact and the darker parts look kinda messy and inaccurate (I'm sorry about that, just didn't have all the right colors), and I actually missed something and had to fix it and re-scan it, but I think I learned a lot from drawing something that I'm not quite as familiar with.

My dad is freaking out over it because for whatever reason he looked at it and saw a nude anime character with a tail and he thinks the legs look too spread, so I'm gonna upload it somewhere private, send you the link, and it'll be up to you to decide whether or not my dad is overreacting, because I'm a bit concerned about that right now.

if this was a commission that I was actually being paid for I'd be panicking right now because trying to draw outside what I'm familiar with made me extremely conscious of how much my art sucks

My dad thought the legs were spread in a way that could be seen as suggestive and the more he told me so the more I saw what he meant even though my only concern about the legs before that was that they might be twisted weirdly :P

I was originally gonna upload it publicly and use it as the example for my commission info but now I can't unsee the "suggestiveness" and it's all awkward
