Hey, as a kid i used to visit the popcorn park and zoo. They are an Humane Society zoo/adoption center/hospital/etc. They take in abused and neglected farm/circus/closed zoo/ etc animals and help them back to health. Sometimes they can let them go back to the wild, other times they have to keep them in New Jersey. For example they have rescued tigers and lions before, and recently rescued rabbits that were left after someone passed away, and are helping them back to health.
You can donate to help them by visiting them in Person and getting admission, they have animals you can feed with popcorn roaming around the zoo, or by directly donating money to them.

Not entirely sure what brought about this call for donations to a charity in my home state, but it may be nostalgia for this place kicking in and thinking about what i can do to help them out.
