Okay so from what I've gathered the convention has more or less returned to normal activities, the dance appears to have resumed and a crowd-sourced list of injured con-goers lists only three, but they brought in ambulances and firetrucks from three counties total, and two hazmat vehicles. Chicago city radio chatter for the FD appears to be unrelated to the incident, and while the possibility of it being an intentional attack to hurt people hasn't been out-ruled, it's still being looked into. But you'd figure that if someone wanted to do that to hurt people they's do it at the dance or somewhere where there's more people, not a stairwell.

Yeah, you would think. :P

So MWFF released an official statement concerning last nights' events. 19 were hospitalized and some were returned to the con this morning, convention activities have returned to normal. However, it is being investigated as a criminal act.
