Twitter? Twooter? Twa- ahh hang on. I got questions!

So I got me a Twitter thing. I am told it's what all the hepcat artists are doing. Or something.
I see some folks use it to post WIPs and things, which is cool and I may start doing now that I'm recovered from surprise!surgery (nothing major, no worries) so uh, yes!
Do any of my artist-friends use Twitter for posting art? Do you just post finished pieces, or a mix of sketches/WIPs/finished work? Should I maintain a separate NSFW account if I plan on posting any of that stuff? The, 'please check this box if your Tweets contain sensitive media so that users can be informed prior to viewing,' thing seems to be account-wide so I don't know if that'd shoot me in the foot since I don't think most of my tweets would be all that saucy.
