I was confused about the numbering system and originally though this was for a brick I already had.

So does that mean Antartic press is down the tubes? Gold Diggers is a long established series. If they're going to publish it, they should be taking care of the finical side. What's the point of having a publisher if you have to handle all you own finance and distribution. I've checked at various book stores, and they can't get Antarctic Press items through their channels.

I've seen them in past start a series, then just leave it in limbo. They also, as far as I know, don't distribute in electronic format. Ever thought about getting a new publisher, like say, Dark Horse Comics?

Fred isn't doing these Kickstarters. They're being done by AP. Last I heard, any store could get AP products through Diamond the same as any other comic store or could contact AP directly as well.

One has to wonder at the future of a publisher who needs to resort to a kickstarted campaign. It was originally envisioned as a crowd sourcing tool for people who had a great idea, but no capital. Antarctic press has been in business for, what? Thirty years? They should be able to front the money for a project like this, since the art work is already done. It begs the question, why pay twenty five dollars for a book that will most likely be under ten?
