MWFF 2014 Recap

So I haven't made any updates in quite a while guys, but here we go.
So I got to go to MWFF this last weekend. :) It was quite a fun time actually despite many of the things that happened during the con. I've had an increasingly stressful year leading up to the convention and it was a good stress reliever for me to go. I needed a few days to just suit and get to play with some awesome people.
At the convention, some of the cons:
ROOM. Well when we got there, I went to check in for my double bed room that I had reserved when reservations were first opened. I thought that we would be alright and get our room like promised by the statement 'reserved'. Well, that went downhill quickly. The woman at the front counter told me and apparently countless others that there double beds were no longer available as promised. This upset me and many others. We had to cram 5 people, 3 of them with fursuits, into a small king room. That made the room seem very cramped and messy over the weekend. Then not only that but they ran out of the nice keycards because surprise surprise there was a system error and they just gave out have of the nice keycards. Bullcrap... I've gotten one every year and keep it as kind of my keepsake, kind of upset I didn't get a nice one this year.
DANCE. Well... When I entered in Floor Wars, I ended up getting pulled last on the list so I didn't actually get to dance in that at all and instead went to eat since there was no point waiting to be called in case there was an opening. So I went for the dance competition. Didn't make it past the 2nd judging round in prelims and that kind of made me feel down and out for some of that night. I was so sure I'd do better than that after working so hard for the last year, but I guess I just still wasn't good enough yet. There was a lot of talent in that room. Maybe next year I'll do better, but all well for this year. I danced whenever I could though during the con to at least still show off a few of my moves. :)
ALARM. Of course I don't need to explain the alarm situation too much. I went to sleep at 12:30, woke up at 1 from the alarm, was filed down the stairs as people refused to take their heads off to actually get out of the hotel in a timely matter. Froze my butt off for a while, went into the convention center, got anxiety from being pushed back repeatedly then we were moved back to the hotel again and finally got to our room where we went to sleep. I felt bad for any business people that were there over the weekend during all this and had to see all of the party goers still in their intercourse gear... nngh... bad enough I had to see some guy getting his head saran wrapped while he was screaming.
Other than those things and the prices in Chicago, I had a pretty awesome time! Some of the pros.
PEOPLE. I got to meet some amazing people at MWFF this year and it really made some lasting memories. I got to talk with 
, one of the few dancers that I really truly look up to. 
,
and many others. I got a 'blowjob' from 
and got to give him his badge finally on Saturday. I ended up seeing him around a lot. I got to give 
a hug despite how busy and swamped by people she was. I honestly wish I could of stopped and had a conversation, but I didn't want to keep her too long since people kept attacking her. I got to steal 
's cookie plush and chase it around with her, 
and 
. Speaking of those two, I think I probably interacted with them and 
the most at the con. I just want to thank them for being so amazing and dealing with my hyperactivity. It was truly a very fun time getting to play with all of them ^^ You guys were all great at MFF this year.
CHINESE? I am not going to lie, usually chinese isn't very good for delivery or take out, but this stuff was amazing. I think we bought China express and it tasted purely amazing. My curry, crab rangoon, the pot stickers we got, all of it was sooooo good. :) Wish I had some more now.
SUITING. I loved getting to suit up and really show off my new fursuit this year. It was my first time working with digi legs and a giant tail like that. I am so happy with how it came out despite having rushed some of it near the end there. People loved my tail the most, which I'm glad since that thing was a bitch to put together :) I enjoyed getting to interact with other people, kids, get pictures taken of myself and just overall explore the con in suit. I got to attach my raptor claws near the end of Saturday after visiting the dealers den and buying a set and was really happy to add them to the suit, really made the raptor toe stick out more. Please, if anybody got any videos or pictures, I'd really appreciate you sending them my way!
For those of you who were stuck with me the whole ona nd had to chase after my ass on several occasions because of how quickly I'd change direction, thank you <3 I love you guys so much and I hope you know that I truly appreciate you all looking out for me and hanging with me during the con. You guys made it wonderful 
Any of you who saw me at MFF, if you wanna talk more about suit making, con stories, or anything in general, I'd love to get to know you all. ^^ Just note me for my skype and we can totally talk!
Definitely gonna see about going to AC and MFF next year. Just gotta get two other jobs and see how much I can raise. :) Also remaking Dekanto's head and gonna start accepting commissions once I get that fursuit shipped out. ^^

Agreed! I'm totally gonna work hard and see if I can't get enough money to go to AC this year :D Then I know for certain I'm gonna work for MWFF as well. ^^ Hopefully I'll get to see you at one or both of those :D And thank you so much, yours as well! <3

I've always wanted to go but money and distance was always an issue x-x I've heard it's a little too crowded, but I'm perfectly fine with MFF so I don't see what an extra 1000 or so people will do. Plus it's a bigger area as you stated. And oh yas >:D
