A question for you all
Bear with me for a second:
A while ago I was imagining a world made up of anthropomorphic animals... Just like any furry does from time to time (you know, usual stuff). And so I started to picture what would be the advantages of being a certain animal over the others... Like being a giraffe would most likely avoid you from being blocked by the tall guy who sits in front of you in the movies, and the like...
But then I got to a point where I realized that being a reptile would also mean there would be some drawbacks in certain situations. Like being a venomous snake and wanting to kiss your mate... Or having too spend several hours in the sun since you know... They are ectotherms.
But then I pictured an interesting scenario:
Imagine a lizard anthro (or a snake if you prefer). Now most species of these reptiles shed their old skins every once in a while. Here's the deal: what if, this particular anthro ended up gaining some unwanted weight right before shedding his skin? Could he end up in the shameful situation of out-growing his own outermost layer of scales? How would he take it?
At the moment I though it, I found the idea pretty appealing, but just not enough to draw or write something about it, only silly enough to share it with you and show you all what my mind does when it isn't procrastinating around.
Leave a comment and tell me what you think: are there any other wild, crazy, interesting situations you can come up with where some anthros might end up involved due to their own animal nature?
I might take some of your ideas and turn them into a quick pic...

I have to say that i really liked the idea of such a mismatched couple like this one.
A bear deciding whether or not to listen to his gargantuan appetite and share his food with someone less fortunate?
You can see my interpretation of your idea... I may have altered the context of it, but still I found it really appealing. Thanks for your contribution :)
Surprise! :3
Sure enough! I loved the idea! You can read about it over here... Thanks so much for your comment. You are all awesome!
Thanks for your comment, Tay... You are amazing. :D
A Raccoon who has a penchant for shiny things
A smart dog who often has his instincts get the better of him, particularity chasing and burying things
That being said, I think that a species whose occupation goes against their nature is interesting and humorous. For example, a magpie that works as a bank teller having to give coins to the bank's patrons, or a pack rat that does charity work.
You can see what i managed to achieve with your own ideas in a quick practice sketch I made inspired on your kind comments (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15231246/). Thanks for writing your opinion. Have a great day. :D
Just a couple suggestions! XD
