We're doing ok. Going to Mexico in a few days to spend time with my folks :3

Yea.... may have been born & raised in TX, but now am a Bostonian based guy... but I do miss TX though...

I visited Boston, Mass., in the mid-70s and liked it pretty well. Its racial territorial divisions and rivalries (to use a mild term) reminded me a bit of Los Angeles and to a lesser degree, San Francisco.

I sure like the chowder houses there, and actually like the "red" chowder pretty well, which breaks Boston tradition iirc, still a Boston chowder house has made the best of either color I've ever had!

The American Revolution historic sites are also fascinating, as well as touristy places like that building with that upper-deck see-through flooring.

I quite liked visiting the library for MIT too.

The Charles river certainly is much nicer than the dried-up riverway we have (had) here in El Paso.

But I do agree Texas chili and Mexican food can be unparalleled!

I love all the history of Boston... and some of the food out here too... Clam Chowdah... is pretty good out here when authentic... but hard to beat a good chili or BBQ from TX... I miss that... and Tex Mex... but there are at least 1 or two places around here that are good though... but lots of historic architecture and themes to draw from :3
