I know the feeling of not liking your own birthday. For me it has always been too awkward to be the center of attention and the last years I've done quite alot to not make anything big about it or skip it completely.

No matter how much you know a person, it's always hard with gifts. I just hope that the only gift that I picked out solely on my own will be liked.

I hope that your b-day will be as good as it can get and that you'll have a good time anyway.

I have absolutely no problem in being the center of attention. I actually like it.

But its the thing of making a 'special day' but not going all the way. It just makes the day way less special and it feels like mockery.
I'm fine with not having a cake at all. But if its a cake that i dont even like. Then it feels like they don't even know what i like. x_x

For example. Last year my friends threw me a party. (Along with one of my other friends that has his bday the 18th. So 2 days before mine.)
We had the party at a rentable sauna-place... And i don't even like the sauna.

So meanwhile i sat out in the lawnchairs outside. They were in the sauna. xD
Kinda retarded way of celebrating someone if you ask me.


Hence why a fur-party would be epic. Quality over Quantity. :>

Wow...yeah that was prolly not the greatest idea for celebrating you then, no. I understand how you mean.

I went with the simple celebration for me this summer. It was pizza and boardgame night. Nothing more, and it was really nice.

When it comes to bought gifts, there just have to be some real serious thought behind it. Like my gift to Zolah on her first birthday with me. I gave he a anatomically correct plushie heart that started to beat when you hugged it. But nothing beats a gift created for you personally.

Altough i'd be perfectly fine to a bar-night aswell. ;D

If I'm gonna be honest. I never really liked going to bars. Never really went to one with friends or so either though. ^///^ Having a father that worked as a chef at pubs and bars when growing up and having to be at work with him more times then i'd like to admit kinda gave me a very sceptical view on the whole thing.
