you know that paypal will take a little out of the artist's earnings when sent as goods/services, so you put it as gift for family/friends. PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT! it can freeze the artists account because the activity will look suspicious especially when there are continuous transactions. using a fee calculator, the artist and/or commissioner can see how much paypal will exactly take away! please please use this to your advantage and change your prices based of this calculator!
