Clone Trooper?

Is it conceited that every time I take my clothes off I hear the 'Indiana Jones' theme song?
So I'm thinking of creating a Clone Trooper character, but I'm still mulling over some of the details. I'm still fairly new to probing the depths of SW fluff so forgive me if some of what I say is wrong.
1. Species?
This would really depend on what species Jango Fett was. Mandalorians were a fierce warrior race with a strong sense of "national" pride (despite having a fractured home world). At the same time Jango could be very solitary. I love border collies, but they really don't fit that profile. The obvious choice I suppose would be a wolf, due to the pack mentality and the whole "lone wolf" cliche. Honestly, I hate cliches though.
I really don't have a problem with him just being a normal human. I know that's a sin in the furry community, but I find it most appealing for this.
2. Armor?
Definitely Phase 1 armor, but I hate how troopers are portrayed with absolutely no customization or gear. I'll definitely want the kind of detail that went into Spartans in Halo: Reach.
3. Class/Rank?
No ARCs or Commandos. Probably just a plain ole grunt.
Yep... everyone wants to be the Jedi hero. I want to be the faceless clone.
