Most of my 40$ and upward purchases have been very impulsive, I must admit. It's like a collector's habit, or something. I have a ton of beanie babies, too. (I didn't pay hundreds for them/I got the majority of them for free.) Once you get going, it is hard to stop. ;-;

I went through someone's scraps one time out of curiosity to see what their adopts were selling for and I felt sick to my stomach. I can understand paying 100+ for artwork, but not for a design adopt, when half the time they're super generic. Ugh
Or when someone buys characters or artwork even for a lot of money then they complain their electricity got shut off and they don't know why they couldn't afford basic living needs.
