Closing Commissions/2015 Art 'Resolutions'
General
In 2015 I will be more focused on my professional and personal art rather than commissions- I found that while doing personal commissions is so fun and rewarding, I will be taking a break starting this holiday season- which would be now. I am finishing a few stray projects before the Christmas rush and that will be it.
If you're sad- don't worry! I anticipate opening for commissions sporadically and in limited numbers next year. That way I can block out time to complete them all at once rather than just having jobs trickle in like they did this year. Plus I'll be doing more cons.
So what WILL I be doing in 2015?
- Children's books: I have one children's book to illustrate for a client starting in January. After that I will be working on one or two children's books for myself.
- Personal Art/Prints/Portfolio: As a true creative spirit, making time to create personal art is very important to me mentally/spiritually. I'll be using this time to build up my portfolio and offer these pictures as prints/shirts/cards/etc.
- Conventions: Gotta get myself out there! I know I'll be at Anthrocon and FurTheMore in the artist alley or dealer's den. More info forthcoming!
Hope you guys are doing well!
