Only true friends will be by you no matter what. Mate or not. On the other hand some people make mates and become consumed by only their attention. He/she may just be in that phase and should be out of it soon enough.

Yeah there are plenty of great awesome people out there. One dork shouldn't get me down. I'm just mad because they wouldn't be annoyingly into the furry fandom if I hadn't shown it to them.

I did. They said I was just jealous. It's like no I'm not jealous I'm pissed off because they're acting so stupid.

what exactly are they doing? I lost all my friends due to me leaving an abusive bf....they said well no need to be your friend anymore, since he's not dating you type thing. They were my friends first. 99% of all my friends ditched me when they dated guys. when they were suicidal I was there. I had deep depression all my friends left as well when I couldn't drive after my car accident I saw even more leave. It happens . Its sad, but there is no girl code. They fuck you over if they like your bf, they fuck you over if you disagree with them and they fuck you over when they find someone else to date or new friends. They don't really grow up until their late 40's...not saying all are like that, but every women I ever became friends with did it to me. Guys on other hand at least have their bros stick with them.
I miss my friends, but honestly they don't deserve me and that's how I move on. Make new friends.

This was a guy friend. We were bros. I introduced him to the fandom where he started getting popular because he's talkative. Then he found a furry girlfriend and completely ditched me for her. We had plans and he bailed on me more than once. I'm not jealous because he's not attractive and she's pretty dumpy looking. I'm just pissed because I thought I had an actual friend and I haven't heard hide or tail of him since this girl. I don't trust her either cause I've heard stories that she's kinda a floosey. Hell he didn't even say happy birthday to me when it was my birthday.

Yeah really. When I've been in a relationship I would always try to balance everything equally. I'm not just going to abandon my friends for some tail.
