Sorry for not posting more pics from MFF... I had a accident at work early Tue morning about 3:15 am.. I work around caustic chemicalsl to clean the equipment in the plant. Well the one I was working at uses a tank of hot water (at boiling point yes 212 degrees plus) and a mix of alkaline based chemicals.. some of this got into my left eye... and I suffered a bad chemical burn.. They flushed it immediately with water.. for about 30 mins but the pain was excruciating so I had to go to the hospital. Where the continued flushing it.. Luckily I had some scratches on the surface of my cornea.. but nothing more serious than that other then swelling because is also burned my eyelids. I got some meds that I'm taking for it.. and it seems to be healing well but I have discomfort from the burning and redness in my eyes.. they teared up for a day so that added to the pain.. anyways I'm ok and I hope to be back at work soon.. and if you see me at bowling... its not that I've been smoking or stayed up to late.. but my eye is still red from this and is swollen a littlle.. The supervisor where I work is always thinking about his bonus for saving the company money.. but the safety manager will get on him to give me the proper eye protection working around that tank.
