I found out last night that my uncle died. In the last eight months, I've lost my grandfather, my aunt (wife of the uncle who died) and my uncle. I feel really bad for my two cousins - a sophomore in high school and a freshman in college - because they're orphans now. I also recently just had to pay for about $3,000 in car repairs. I'm really just about ready for this year to be over.
On a different note, since I'm going to probably be busy with work, shopping and family over the next few days and I might not get free enough to say it, merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone.

Hang on for another two weeks and 2014 will be a bitter memory, left to rot in the past!
Had years like that myself and for some reason it all yappens at the same time.
For me it was, sib went insane, dug up and... shall we say, "edited" an old lj post of mine, convinced friends & family that I was a gay child-raping nazi, lost my job, fell DEEP into debt, missed every con despite living down the street from some AWESOME ones, my car died and finally so did I.
Fortunately (debatably) the paramedics & hospital staff pulled me back so I spent until part way into the next year convalescing, racking up more medical bills.
#7:( a refund, I'm suing for damages for that abomination of a year!
Been there, hated every second.
