I'd say Borra would be better than Makorra. They didn't work from the beginning, this relationship seemed forced. I was really frightened when in the ending Korra spoke to Mako - the risk that those two would end up together was too damn high! But then Tenzin saved the day, and then... ^.^

That's slowly changing - e.g in Adventure Time PB and Marceline are into each other. But in LOK it's that great, because the protagonist turned out to be bisexual and ended up in gay relationship ^.^

I did notice that between PB and Marceline. Especially in the door episode where Marceline sings I'm just your problem. <3 love the song.

I don't know about this show, but the fact it's for kids and they put a lesbian couple make me think that finally the world is heading toward a tolerant view of omosexuality... i may sound exagerating but that's, hopefully, what is happening

Of course it's happening. The only problem is - not everywhere. But it has to happen, the world someday will finally accept LGBT as something as normal and natural as heterosexuality, just as the same happened with interracial marriages - for example. But it still hasn't changed everywhere too.
I'm lucky enough to be born in Europe, and my country being member of EU slowly rises tolerance towards things that were considered "sick" or "unnatural" just about 10 years ago. Recently - http://www.dw.de/biedron-wins-in-sl.....yor/a-18104097
But that's only Europe - majority of the world seems to gain tolerance towards LGBT, but the biggest "problem" are African countries and Near East, where religion creates very awful hatred towards - basically - anyone who doesn't follow their it's rules...
