When I argue

people are always "you were a jerk" or "don't be rude"

but it's like

lol no

in an argument or debate, insults are worthless (I only insult people who make asses out of themselves)

don't get me wrong I won't disrespect someone for no reason

but if you say something like "police brutality doesn't matter"

yeah um

I'm gonna call you an idiot

thing is

if all you have to say about someone after an exchange of information is "they were rude" and that doesn't include "they were wrong"
