Urges...

Once more into the breeches, dear friends!
Yes, I haven't posted again in three weeks now... but I have an explanation.
I've had strange, unflappable urges. Ones that eat at my mind, my soul, and my pants. These sultry whispers have taken many forms, but, most assuredly, they have all spoken the same words.
They speak of Digimon.
Now, I am not the biggest fan of the show, but again I don't particularly care for the Pokemon anime either. I do, however, like the Digimon games, because Digimon is based on something that the Pokemon games didn't explore as much as I would have liked.
Raising them.
I used to have one of those little brick-house keychains. In fact I still have it somewhere. I didn't have anyone to battle with, but I had fun raising my little... block of pixels. Pokemon is about the battling and showing off, but if there was a Pokemon game where you only raised one of them at a time, and actually raised it by hand, then I'd be a very happy gamer.
I've did some research, found a couple of the Digimons that I <3, and apparently most of them were important in the show. At least they know what they're doing there. I don't think this is going to translate into Digimon stories... but I definitely have ideas involving them! I'm playing Digimon World Dawn now with a Guilmon, a Dorumon, and an Agumon X. They were the most interesting, and frankly speaking, on a very "Matthew-esque" level, I could do all of them!

FA+

I never liked the digimon games for the most part, but I liked the Digimon Anime far more than the Pokemon Anime...in fact, I think I've watched all the episodes from seasons 1-3, with 3 being my favorite because of Guilmon. <3
For the record, I hated seasons 3,4, and 5 of digimon. (though 3 did give us renamon...)
Feeding, training, potty, doctor, fighting, all kinds of awesome.
It was a little glitchy and I wish there was a remake.
the raising aspect and never being 100% certain of what your guy was gonna turn into was always awesome...
