Hiiiii
life update and such
Been makin' music (obviously). I might have some material ready for an EP soon! Who knows!
My piano skills have improved a lot, to.
Saw the new Hobbit movie. I enjoyed it. Even if it has a trillion weird problems with it.
I recently bought a car! YAY! It's a necessity when living in a city as spread out as Phoenix.
SO, with this new method of transportation, I'm trying to get out of the house and meet people.
Strangely, I keep making friends with high-school kids (meet a group of dudes at a furry con playing Smash Bros, it was fun).
Ah well.
I've been single for over a year and, for the hell of it, I've put my name out on Tinder and such over the past few weeks.
I didn't expect much, and so far, nothing really has happened. OH WELL. You can't rush relationships. Those take time and energy. Dating sites help but at the same time, you're odds of finding someone are kinda low. It's just a matter of time. All good things come with time and patience, and effort.
BUT IT GOT ME THINKING about all the folks who I watch, and watch me.
How did you meet your current partner? (I'm just curious, is all. I love hearing other people's stories!)
Merry Christmas to everyone!

I like to say that the only reason why I met him was because I joked dating a girl. I have been happily married since April of this year. It was tough with him living two states away; but I never regretted saying yes. ;;;;;;;;v;;;;;;;;
Merry Christmas to you! I am so glad to see you doing better!!!
And thank you!
Let me just say this: I think it's super rad that you found somebody IRL through the fandom!
I've just tried getting out at fur cons and saying to people and stuff, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hope at time.
BUT I have meet a few cool dudes through it!
Although none of these are through conventions, but just chatting online and then throwing a meet.
I feel like a lot of who you meet is largely based on 'who you know'. I've never had a lot of luck with services/sites/apps that aim to bring people together to socialize.
Then the rest of the people I've found through the other people I found.
And when I host meets I often tell people to also invite their friends, and that's how I've found plenty new people aswell~ Not to mention a lot of people have found their significant others at those meets aswell heh~ x3
Hosting your own furry meets? That sounds like a really cool idea!
There's a huge long complicated story to go with this, but that's the simplified version. X3
I want a new car, mine's crap ;.;
And wow, that's an important lesson. I still kinda struggle with the whole 'being a furry' thing, to be honest.
BACKSTORY: moved from Missouri to Phoenix to life w/ relatives because life in Missouri was 'eh'. So I've been living in Phoenix, AZ for the past year now, and I have struggled to meet people my age.
((Thankfully, I'm heading back to college in Spring 2015, so I might meet some cool people again.))
But for the past year, I haven't had a lot of chances to meet with people my own age, let alone furries. So it doesn't get mentioned very much.
THANKFULLY at a recent furry con, I came a across a group of cool guys/kids (17+ is still being a kid, sorry) playing some vidya games, and I made some new friends.
Things are lookin' up! ^-^
