Hmm, that's a good one. I'd probably say, for type, a hybrid between Count Dooku's and Darth Maul's lightsabers. Where you can have it be two separate lightsabers with the curved handles, but then, you can connect the ends to turn them into a more formidable weapon.

As for color, I'd probably wind up going with a blue one.
