Happy Yule and Merry Christmas everyone! Yes... technically kinda smack in between the two holidays, BUT, close enough. :P I hope y'all have your stressful shopping and running around done - finally got the rest it done this weekend. On the upside though, Sunday was mighty impressive for my mate, who was out for a whole hour in a big store using just her cane. Far cry from a month ago when just 3 weeks after her surgery she was still using a fixed walker and only able to move around a bit before having to rest. So woo! Very glad she's more mobile for the holidays, and on a road to a full recovery by spring.

Two gorgeous references from Owlette. The first is her personal character River, who has very nicely detailed Avian footpaws that look to be a hybrid plantigrade/digitigrade design. The second is a gryphon named Eske who (as it says) has "soft cuddly paws". <3 And they do look very soft, plush and lovely.

Eeee - it's Tani! Tani is the very amazing character of Werevixen, and quite often people who draw her don't get that her footpaws are BIG. Not only does Cougr do his usual immaculate job of portraying those footpaws, but this is the first time I've really seem them come off as the huge, amazing things they are. :D And for those of you that are wondering, yes, her soles are skin and pads, no fur on the underside. :3

A long time favourite artist of mine for how beautifully she does footpaws, and just gorgeous characters overall. Gravey draws some of the most beautiful female characters around and always has such a great spark of personality in her work! She's drawn a variety of footpaw styles and has plenty of pieces of work in her vast galleries that feature footpaws as a central theme. And I have to mention it... she also draws the most epic breasts EVER. *chuckles* Not usually as big a draw for me as footpaws, but there's just something about the way Gravey does them that is hugely attractive. Skillzzzz... she's got'em. She also does some insanely cute knitting and crocheting stuff too! So check out her galleries - they are HUGE and go back years, and give her pages a much-deserved watch. :)
