Ive noticed only certain games can allow a computer to run a game with 60 fps with high end graphics.
Heres what I found out about each game:
Dynasty Warriors 8: Extreme Legends: high detail is only effective with higher frames only when using the GPU otherwise it has to be on medium
Skyrim: Says it can run on ultra high according to scanning my computer. Slight skipping (May have to lower to high to avoid my hd from breaking i dunno. Tell me please if I have to lower down to one setting because I do NOT want this thing dead)
Blade Symphony: No complaints so far
Hearthstone: Good to go!
Diablo 3: I dont remember exactly but im pretty sure it ran perfectly with highest setting
Rift: *Sigh* It can run at 60+ frames on low setting without low rendering filter. This strikes me as a big disappointment and the cold hard truth, Laptops cant game for crap with certain games
The worst part, the batterys life is a lot less than my old laptop. It last about less than a hour when running a game for a while. So In all, $799 ($899 due to the free bundle with games...) for this laptop is a big ripoff. I was suppose to have a 1TB HD only to find out, half of the memory has been used up. When I was downloading games from steam on christmas from my uncles 8+ MB/S router it started skipping and slowing down, noticed more than 80% of the ram being used, assumed steam but it was the local host.,,
But im appreciative of having this because this is a hell lot better than my old laptop I can run games that I couldnt run before. Im just a little bit sad that things didnt turned out as well as I hoped.
