The end of an era... bring on new year

I'm not sure how many people know this on FA, but here goes...
Last week I split up with Tiggie, my partner of 9 years.
We had been growing apart for the last 2 years (since moving out), and during the last couple of months I grew extremely depressed, I had no energy for self-motivation on getting out of bed, let alone artwork... it seemed I got very little sympathy from Tig (because he didn't love me anymore - which I didn't realize at the time).
I left the house with 15k worth of stuff, because it was generally all mine (aside from the computer I'm using at the moment, as it's Tig's but he let me have it because it works with the Cintiq - go figure).
Tiggie acknowledges he has done wrong - I don't expect anyone to understand, as I sometimes fail to understand, but that's all up to him now.
As long as he doesn't interfere with my life anymore, I'm allowing myself to let go.
We're still friends, and I hope he will respect my privacy.
I had been with him since I was 17 and I have learned more about myself during that time, just wish I could have seen it coming sooner...
However! that being said, there's a new horizon and I'm looking forward to the year ahead! ^^
There have been people waiting to talk to me, and I'm enjoying their friendship :3
I've never felt happier - knowing they're just a text/call away and I don't need to feel uncomfortable talking to them.
I will open commissions again ^^
Starting January 1st I will be officially open for general commissions (mostly Clean/PG) and pre-orders for ConFuzzled ("Alice in Wonderland" themed badges and room signs)
I'll include a journal at a future date for all the details.
I also have a couple of YCH auctions planned (if those are even a thing anymore? lol)
There is definitely a medieval-themed Tavern scene planned with many slots available (also featuring myself as the Landlady), and an XXX/fetish-themed YCH featuring one of my characters (this includes Sketchkat - this is the first time I've offered her in such a commission ["Please be gentle with me!"])
Overall I'll have a lot more time to improve myself as a person, and as an artist. :3
I'd like to thank everyone so far for their well wishes, and for your continued support in my time of need (and sometimes time of want, rather than need) xD

All I can say is that hopefully you'll make your way forward from this and that hopefully there be people out there that are willing to help you out when you need it most as well.

But I'm so glad to hear that you are happy. I'm glad that you were able to find yourself in the time being with him;
too many people focus on the loss and not the gain. Go be you and don't worry about anyone else :)
As for the new year and new horizons! I'm looking for a sketch artist to collaborate with!~

When you spend so long in a relationship so young you often loose yourself but now you get to spend your time discovering who sketchcat is without the Tiggie bit attached, and that's a wonderful thing.
