Listen, I'm NOT an artist as I have stated many times before. I pay hard earned money for art for me to enjoy so I can't just slap a big fat watermark across something I only paid for....which is my problem. Read the WHOLE thing since you obviously can't, I have stated that I know the internet and what its problems are with legality, my problem is how to prevent such things, if you are not going to help then don't bother posting

You are right but the thing Is most artist don't want some of there art posted on other places WITH OUT ASKING THEM!! And some furs do CLAIM ART AS THEIRS THATS THE STEALING ISSUE.
Yea most artist can't make a living with their art and others keep buying so much art they can't buy a good house for them to live in but you don't have to give names of people that can't...
But I'm sure she wouldn't mind if people gave credited info about the art and the owner its people who refuse to give the artist and and the person who brought it name. And let's not for get Rp online taking people's fursonas acting like they own it NOT ALL DO THIS BUT SOME!!!

So far I don't have that isse because one i don't push my smut on people two im not huge on Fa da etc and TWO I don't buy A WHOLE LOT OF ART BECAUSE I NEED MONEY FOR REALT STUFF HOW I GET MY ART FROM WONERFUL PEOPLE WHO TAKE REQUESTS AND TRADES.. I take notes I'll repay them in a way I can.


But I'm sure that most people would be upset if you brought someart and someone posted it to anporn site or facebook and said it was their art or if they posted with out asking THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH REPOSTING SHIT!!

Because if you leave a car out side and someone takes it YOULL BE PISSED ...A BUT IF SOMEONE WERE TO ASK even then I would say no UNLESS if it was my mate or kids sure but I'd be happy someone asked to fucking use my shit.

Yeah even if I do look at stuff on e621, putting up artwork on other sites or places without permission is still a messed up, rude thing to do. People on that site should ask first instead just rip it off from somewhere whenever they feel like it. I agree that it's really rude of them to do. Personally, yes, I would ask the artist if its alright to have them watermark the work and also put yours in it as well. Just in case of any thieves deciding to take it and post it somewhere else without permission. Making it to where they have to deal with the watermark and people will know who ACTUALLY made it and who's character that belongs to. I don't at all agree with e621's community's methods or their idea of thieving. Most from what I noticed are people who are confused and confuse the commissioner as the one who made the work. And yeah I had some people thinking some commissions I got were made by me when really it wasn't. I even clearly put up who actually did the work for me in the description. But of course not much read it.

I say do what you think is necessary to do. Watermarking seems like a good idea. Stop posting work may help but also "may" not. I'm not sure on that. But all in all I say just do what you deem necessary. Don't let confused people or people who talk back negative cause they "support" the site tell you different. Stand your ground and do what's necessary.

Oh, my god. The hell is wrong with these people. Poor jazzy face. ;_; I think you could ask, perhaps, if the artist themselves would slap not only their own watermark on it but give you permission to use your own watermark on the already marked image?
