"The dream is alive..."
Hello all~
After the last few depressing journals, I'm sure some of you would like to hear good news from me.
It started that I got sick... the one big sickness that I guess I get once a year. First time I took a sick day at work I felt so bad. But that didn't stop 3 of my co-workers coming over to see Guardians of the Galaxy. We had planned it the week before. So, being their sick host I just laid on the couch with a blanket while they used my kitchen to make me macaroni and cheese and we overall had a lot of fun. I passed out quickly after they left, but was fine the next day~
After having Xmas dinner with mom, I drove 1.5 hours to Beaumont to spend the holiday with :usershi-shintai: and her family. I haven't had a Christmas that actually felt like one in years. Stayed up most of the night chatting and laughing, woke up to open presents from under a tree, and a big holiday dinner. And I have a weakness to holiday food... I think I ate 3 plates.
We started the Wakfu cartoon...it's so darn cute! It makes me miss my characters from the MMOs Dofus and Wakfu.
Saturday I went to my dad's side of the family and kinda just sat around bored. Not bad really... just...not fun? didn't really talk to anyone, ate a bit of everything to taste it all. Dad gave me some kitchenware. :3
And today static-foil came to my house to chill for a little while and give me a Xmas massage. I swear she's professional! It was so good. I can't thank you enough. I hope the mudkip figurine will do for now. <3
And I just reactivated my FFXIV account. I will work on commission when I come home for an hour at least, but I have a lot to catch up on this game and I really feel like playing it.
And yes... I still have mailing to do. Now that Xmas has passed, maybe I can hit up a post office and be in and out real fast. :3
