What's your best Christmas Memory?
I am in a crappy/weird mood and i have been wanting to ask everyone of their best Christmas memories for a little while now.
Got our first snow at my place today and I'm sitting here warmed by the fireplace. So i think there's no better time for story time.
I would love to hear some of your best memories from Christmas time, New Years eve, or just winter & snow season in general.
Please let me leech off of your wonderful memories, I'm sure it'll cheer me up a little. <3
Whoever makes me cry with the most heartwarming story gets a hug.

One Christmas my father went to take a christmas tree for us, but he didnt came back until 2 am, smelling from 10 miles like alcohol.
We thought we wont have a tree that year.
A few days later, during the night we woke up with my father, dressed as Santa and with a tree on his back.
Its the best for me because he never liked anything....if it wasnt alcohol......
I was worried that it wasn't going to turn around as i was reading the beginning.
Surprises like that are really nice i think.
Was lot better seeing her cheered up and we played the whole night of smash bros, mario party, and bomberman 64. Was bit annoyed though when someone literally took the whole pop tart lol
That's really nice! She must have been so happy right there.
There's always someone going for the best parts. Hehe.
I don't really like Facebook at all, but you're making me wanna spend 4 minutes of my life on there now.
4 minutes out of a full hour? Sounds like the fight took a drastic turn.
"Santas' Helpers" That's so cute.
And a cat dragging gift wrapping paper all around the house like some crazy little furball in ecstasy. Those little cuties can make anything a toy, which is fun for the rest of us. ^^
Cause we all know that paper is evil.
but the smell of the pine tree is my best memory of Christmas, better then the presents
Which is a real shame i think.
Haha! Sneaky little bastards. That is brilliant. That poor guy though.
One time my grandfather took me out in the backyard and gave me our family heirloom; a recurve bow.
Started a lifetime hobby that I thoroughly enjoy!
I doubt I would be any good with a bow.
.. I'd probably end up tangled up in the string somehow.
And it's pretty easy to learn, I'd teach you if you weren't across the ocean
Your hugs warms my heart enough already. <3
TL;DR: I was the special kid who ate Disneyland snow.
My family makes fun of me for it to this day.. lol
I guess my most memorable Christmas memory was when I was probably in preschool or kindergarten. It's Christmas Eve, and wanted to stay up late to listen for Santa to come. As I was laying in bed, waiting, I suddenly heard footsteps on my roof. My heart stops for a moment, and then proceeds to race a million miles-per-hour. I hear the steps for about a minute before it stops, then there is nothing. Eventually I fall asleep and wake up to the usual Christmas morning of opening presents with family. As a result of this little stunt, I believed in Santa for probably longer than I really should have. I was so sure it was him because I knew my mom and dad were asleep in the other room, and my brother was asleep in his... well apparently he wasn't and he was the one who, in the middle of the night, went out to the back of the house, climbed a ladder to our roof, and stomped around in the middle of a snowstorm to give me that extra bit of 'magic'. I don't know if I should be grateful to him for going through the trouble, or be mad because I ended up being the last kid to recant his belief in Santa Claus after everyone else. xD
I would gladly played with soap bubbles.
I lost it at your last quote.
I know how you feel, families tend never to let embarrassing situations be forgotten. Grr.
Brother Santa clause, eh? It's nice when people go that extra mile to help get you into the spirit. I think that's really awesome of them to bother with.
Even if it means believing in something for longer than usual~
That is really nice~
It's really good that it turned out well and that you were able to help and give some.
Hope things will progress for the better from here on~
And everyone's Christmas wish came true with me coming home eight months later. Got many drinks that day.
Nothing better than a family that cares. <3
Those are.. Horrible. And scary.
Best Christmas Evar
Big family get together is so nice if everyone gets along.
Such eager child!
Good thing he gave in, third time's a charm it seems.
