Painting Help?
So I was painting this picture and I forgot the character had markings
the worst part is I did my shadings and highlights in one layer!
SO I was wondering if there was a possible way to add the markings ?
Or am I going to have to start it all over again :T
for example:
http://gyazo.com/1c426ff6b9a43e90e168ea377b2c57f1 the blue creature has magenta markings but i painted the blue already..how do I add the markings?

I recommend saving markings for last (as not to paint over them) When you're finished with majority of your shading. Insert a new layer above all the others and set it to Multiply then draw using the magenta colors of your markings. They'll appear darker (in most cases) but you can adjust them how you wish with Ctrl+U or lowering the Opacity/Transparency on the multiply layer until you find what looks best on it. (or even selecting the layer with the markings. ctrl+click on the layer's square box window where the markings are and color in the magenta color yourself)
If you're still having trouble feel free to buzz me some on skype, i'll show you what i mean.
<: I normally do this on paintings that have obnoxious patterns (like this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14213268/)
