Art block finally subsiding...?

Sure seems like it. I've been significantly less anal about how my drawings look and accept them for what they are, instead of trying to make them look super perfect. It wasn't easy to break the spell though, it took a few years to even recognize that as the main issue (I blamed poor drawing skills beforehand) and another year or so to get rid of it. Ultimately perseverance is paying off.
I think the amount of things I've posted in the past month is almost equal to everything I posted in the entirety of 2013. Srsly.
It only took several years to see some positive development, but the important thing was not giving up.
2014 was a good year. Let's see what happens in 2015.

good to see some positivity though!! :3
you can see how well that turned out. :P
now that i look back, even my dumb little scribbles now look far more coherent than whatever i was doing back then, mistakes and all. once i realized that, everything else is started to come together. Imperfection is now my friend, unlike perfection who only heckles you because youll never truly achieve it. :V
(also how ya been doing good to hear from you again :D)
I think the inability to accept mistakes is seriously like an epidemic because the turning point in my art was exactly when I started to realise that everyone's personal style is basically them rollin with the mistakes they make?
my figure drawing class back in 2010 actually helped me w/ this looooads because I was forced to work with charcoal & that shit is so messy you can't clean it up at all (I had an /awesome/ teacher who immediately identified my obsession with precision & covering up mistakes and they made me use charcoal all semester lol. I went from hating charcoal to loving it very quickly b/c the improvement in my art became almost immediately apparent within like 6 weeks)
I've been doin good btw! Lots of life stuff finally comin together, 2015 is looking promising +w+
