{{ Obligatory New Year Post of Inspiration and Goals }}

Happy New Year! I was feeling more inspired to write this yesterday, but I didn't want to let myself do it until the new years eve or day of lmao. Oh well. I guess... where to begin?
Highlights of 2014: Moved out of my parents cramped house, got MARRIED. Then went to a bunch of conventions. Witnessed the death of Furlaxation. katalist ordered a partial fursuit that is in progress.
For 2015: Well commissions are going well. Conventions I have planned are MCFC, FWA, GLFC, Anthrocon and then more in the fall. I do still want a fursuit very badly and hope to save up for one. At the same time the lease for my current car is ending in March so I will be looking for a new one that will cost more most likely. So I probably won't be able to effectively save for a fursuit until fall.
And on top of that, I have renewed hope and interest in saving up for and attending SIGGRAPH (short for Special Interest Group on GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques) in 2016. There is no way I would be able to save up and go this year, and in 2016 it will be in Anaheim where katalist's aunt lives. She has offered for us to stay with her which would make getting a trip there so much more affordable. Still expensive because we will have to fly, but I hope I can save up enough to go! Wish me luck! And on top of that will need to work on my animation skills and figure out which industry job I want to prep for. I was very into story-boarding, but have to figure out if I still want to go that route, or concept art, character design, or even animation itself.
We hope to save up enough to stay for a week afterwards so that if anyone wants to interview me I will be around still. And also Katalist and I can finally visit Cars Land that is in Anaheim also! Heeheehee. If, at SIGGRAPH, I do not get any interviews or jobs etc. I will be picking up information on different art schools while I am there as well. There were a lot of schools there when I went a few years ago with my college.
So it would seem that my new years post for 2015 is mostly about 2016... it is important for now because I have to work hard and save up the money and that will take all of 2015. Especially if I also want a fursuit lol.
For 2015, I have been training for a new full time job that is amazing. I love it so much so far and it is more my style than Wal-Mart. I am very grateful for both jobs, but am glad to be progressing. What this means for commissioners is that art production will slow down. Only for the academic year though - it is on a college campus and for the summer I will most likely be back at Wal-Mart with lower hours. If anyone has any questions about when a commission might be done don't hesitate to ask. I work 9-5 every weekday now, and will be doing commissions solely on the weekends from now on. It will slow, but never stop.
I love making furry art, so if you would like to help me get to SIGGRAPH or get a fursuit, please commission me sometime. Either online or at a convention, you know it! Don't be surprised if I get a banner up for the summer for income lol.
Love you all! I enjoy meeting you all and hanging out at cons and can't wait to see what 2015 holds.
