Eh, i think i've had my time with shrooms. As a kid i did them like 10 times in one year and they were a ton of fun but each time got incrementally less fun than the previous, and the last time i did them i didn't enjoy myself at all.
It's not something i do often, but there's stuff my friend gives me that's supposed to prevent the seratonin dump that happens with it the next day. On NYE she forgot to give it to me and i felt just awful. Drained, lethargic, couldn't focus, just gross.
Back in November on the 18th..my roommate gets into a motorcycle accident where she ends up loosing part of her left leg cause the truck that hit her knocked her sideways off the bike and virtually crushed her leg from the mid calf downward. She had to have that part of her leg amputated because of the severity of the injury. And the left TIBIA bone was split.. so she's had to have metal pins stuck in that and it should be about 9 or so months healing that and letting it get strong enough before she can get fitted with a full prostetisis
Fast forward to December.. where she's trying to get slotted into a rehabilitation facility and she'll possibly end up going to one that's further away then where she's at in the main hospital, thus limiting the visitors she can have by pure distance (over an hour away from where we live, and the other roommate / her wife, has to do a 7 day a week, in home care job for a spinal injured vet..so gas is defiantly a consideration in how much driving she does …)
They finally get her on the board for a new place that's only 6 miles from the house, but on the trip there, the driver, who is apparently in too big of a hurry, since it's a late evening run.. doesn't secure her gurney down fully and when he takes a corner harder then normal, she gets bounced around and her left side, including her injured leg smacks into various things and she's ended up at the new re-hab place in tears because the pain is so severe. The new re-hab place has not gotten the special type of air mattress bed they said they'd have because a standard hospital bed puts strain on her lower spine and injured leg and that causes more pain then she can easily sleep with.. that and the night nursing staff does NOT understand that she needs to be given small doses of her pain meds every two hours..to keep the pain under control till her body can take over and help with it and she can dial back the pain med dosages..
Her first night there, which was December the 29tth, she had to spend it with over 8 hours of the nurses not bringing in her pain meds.. and afterward, she's been in such pain for over 15 hours since the van drivers clumsy stupidity.. that they send her back to the hospital, cause the day nurses crew is getting her the meds she needs when she needs it. BUT its' not cutting through the pain and her leg is chilly and swelling..
As it stands right now, she's back in the main hospital and is undergoing x-rays and a professional looking over and will notify us when she gets out if there's any hairline fractures OVER AND ABOVE the bone having been broken and with the pins in it and it's still very very much on the mendl from being bashed around by that stupid ambulance driver..
yes.. it started earlier and then built up..but i'm hoping to heck that all this badness is the universe dumping Darma on us so that at the turn of the new year ( or very very shortly thereafter.).. that things will start going good...
or we are hoping they will.. cause this tail end of the past year has been FREAKING CRUDDY!!
They take notes this time? last time they stalled at the gates of Stalingrad. Plus I assume Poland, Belaruss and the Ukraine waved at the passing divisions this time.
I got some molly from a friend, had to gtfo out of her house due to the dramas, and now i don't feel right at all. I guess it's a type of hangover.

HAPPY FRIGGING NEW YEAR! *sighs...
And while last night was fucking awful, my bones are at least intact so i suppose i have intact bones to be thankful for.

Red Shetland should visit you, and mash your face in her cleavage. Would that improve your mood?
Honestly i'm fine now. I just needed to get caught up on my sleep, drawing nekkid wolves as we speak lol
