Happy New Year everyone! 2014 is now part of the past. Whether a good year or a bad year, it's now just memories. Unless someone video taped you doing stupid things. On that note, when you're done admiring paws, have a look at the best fails of 2014:

For 2015, I was thinking of changing up the paw-mails a bit to have one do a "character feature" and another do an "artist feature", because there are some incredible amazing characters in the fandom that are very paw-centric and deserve highlights! So question; do you guys think this is a good idea, and would you like to see this continue with every e-mail or move the highlight to a once a week thing? Please share your thoughts!

Second, I'm going to include a wee little legend to further simplify/explain the quick ratings here, and this will be on all mails:

nsfw = Nudity and/or adult situation
nsfw-ish = Impending adult situation, suggestive nudity
sfw-ish = mostly safe, but implied pending adult stuff, or anatomically correct bumps. :P
sfw = hopefully won't damage anyone's brains if they see it on your screen
m = male
f = female
f-h = mostly female hermaphrodite
m-h = mostly male hermaphrodite
h = hermaphrodite (50/50 for m/f)
macro = super-sized characters involved
micro = tiny sized characters involved
ref = character reference sheet
charr! = is a Guild Wars 2 charr character... I'm biased here - they're sexy and get their own rating. :P
po = Paws Only; IE, the image is just footpaws/feet
TCO! = Tame Comments Only (don't post suggestive or sexual comments on artists page; they don't want/like it)

Okay - that last one is an important new add-on. There are a number of artists who enjoy drawing footpaws, but who do NOT like the sexual, suggestive or creepy comments that they get when they post paw stuff. In fact, there are some amazing artists who often hold off on paw-pics because of that factor. If I know that a particular artist is uncomfortable with such comments but still likes drawing paws, I will put that in the rating. Despite how much we like footpaws, always remember to not speak with your inner voice about them unless you know the artist AND the commissioner is okay with such comments - it's just good social tact. ;)

Yay! A paw centric piece! Aggro always does great looking paws in his work. In this case, this is a piece to specifically focus on this tiger dude's awesome paws. Nice soft and inviting looking pads.

1st pic: So... Tel-Rex is suddenly a herm. Apparently it's just for this pic. No... I didn't realize that at first either 'cause I was lost looking at the toes and toes. :3

2nd pic: I think I've never seen a pic done before of a fur getting all prettied up like this! Little foam or cotton things between the toes is SO cute, letting fresh toe-claw paint dry. Daww. ^_^

3rd pic: BIG wolf guy at the moment of release. Love how his toes are tensely splayed, conveying that awesome moment of climax. Nice toes too at that.

4th pic: My favourite of the bunch - Herro's always stunning Drip Dry! It's cool to see other artists attempt Drip - Modem's done a spectacular job on her proportions, and especially on her very thick and meaty paw pads. Interesting shading technique used as well here.

Very cool looking eastern-style canine with very big, lovely pad pads. There is a more erm... messy version of this too if you look back in his gallery. Personally I prefer the claws nice, clean and unobstructed. :)

This was bound to happen at some point - two super-sexy French wolves who happen to have a mutual appreciation for paws doing just that! Both Renki and Shadow have bi-coloured paw pads too, which makes it all the more interesting! I like as well that this pic has a bit of something for multiple tastes. While I'm not a fan of paw-jobs, plenty of folks are. I'm more a fan of having those nice toes at my snout where I can best enjoy them - and it's got that too! ^_^

A friendly sparring match in which Reptile does a flying leap against his partner, showing off one beautiful look at his padded sole in the process! What's really awesome about this is Reppy specifically was thinking of paw-lovers when doing it, saying to me "That lovely paw.... took me about 30 minutes to colour it, because I thought about you (and some other guys)! Yeah, this is the best view of his sole so far.... and he has 3 pads where he's walking on (2 big ones and one in the middle) and not to forget 2 smaller pads for each toe! This means... 9 pads in total!" Very cool! Be sure to say thanks to him if you comment on that image to let him know you appreciate his efforts on our behalf!

One exceptionally beautiful fox in pretty minimal clothing! I really like how the colour of the leggings are a contrast to her fur; it draws all the more attention to those dark paws and pads sticking out at the bottom. Very beautifully drawn paws at that too.

Ahhh... Sera - a dragon with the finest taste in female paws has found yet another willing lady to enjoy. Anyare's character has gorgeous smooth feline paws, and Sera is quite happily lost in them. Nice work on both sets of paws in this picture - great shape and detail to them as well as to the characters and expressions over all. :)

So... apparently Maxx has a bit of a light-trample fetish, or at least likes to see sexy paws stomping on his chest (I think it's largely for such a good view of those toes, myself). Foxy obliges and gives us all one cool shot of his toes!

You may recognize this name as the lady who did the recent holiday pic of my character Zrell! A great artist who does very fast work, is a pleasure to work with, and who asks entirely too little for her commissions (easily fixed by paying her more than she asks for - yay tips!). She has a vibrant, happy sort of drawing style to her characters, and enjoys doing pictures that include or even feature footpaws. A look through her gallery will reward you with quite a few playful paw pics. I find that a lot of her work just has such a feel-good vibe to it as well, which is nice. :) Head over and check her out, and give her page a watch!
