[1.] What's the name of your character?
Rocket Arctic Wolf
[2.] Tell us about your character.
Rocket typically thinks of others more than himself.
[3.] How did you make your character up?
The name Rocket comes from what the Rock Island Railroad used to call their passenger trains. :)
For the rest, its a bit like this: I like Arctic Wolves, Ammy from Okami, and Blanca from shadow hearts, so I created a design that reminds me a bit of all three, yet is unique in his own ways.
[4.] Is it easy drawing your character?
Well.. it depends. For me, its typically not too hard to add the markings to linearts, but drawing him without any guide is not easy for me. Even then, I'm not perfect, so there will be slight variations.
For others, I cannot say, but others have drawn him.
[5.] When did you make your character up?
In late 2008 at my desk. However, the new forms have come over the years.
[6.] What inspiration[s] brought your character to life?
Probably hours of looking at Arctic Wolves, stuff from Okami, stuff from Shadow hearts II.
I feel that emergency crews and railroads have likely played a significant role as well.
[7.] Is your character dear to you? If so, how come?
Very much so. There may be other Arctic Wolf and Ookami characters out there, but there is only one that is like me and that I am the one who controls his life.
[8.] If you were forced to compare your character to another, who would you compare them to?
Probably Ammy from Okami. Some have said that he has similarities to her, though there are quite a few differences.
[9.] Is your character related to you in any way? Personality? Problems? Traits?
In many ways. Personality is the same, interests are the same, etc. However, I made Rocket free of medical problems, as they would inhibit his abilities as an Ookami.
[10.] If your character came to life, what would you do?
That would be kind of weird actually. :) It would be about like having myself standing next to me, since I currently control every aspect of his life, but I would no longer be in control. x3
[11.] Is your character a hero or a villain? How do you see them as?
That depends on who you ask. He probably is seen as heroic to some, but to him its just normal life. Life as an Ookami means that you are always on duty. To others, they might not like him for various reasons, though they know that he always tries to do the right thing.
[12.] Is your character a part of any particular story you made up?
All my stories thus far are about him. :)
[13.] What song//movie//book//play do you think of when you imagine your character?
The Sun Rises from the Okami OST.

In Japanese folklore, objects with images of wolves on them are thought to protect against fire and disease. Rocket's interest in fire and EMS stuff fits in well with this.
Rocket knows how to have fun, but is no party animal.
Rocket enjoys being different and unique.
