Hello hello! Are you ready? You'd best be, because I'm home now and the contest has begun! Before you post a link in this journal to be listened to and considered, make sure you read all the info beneath! No use getting some song you worked hard on disqualified because it didn't meet the contest standards!

Super important info:

-Make a song that you think best Expresses yourself

- Your song must have been created in 2015. This is imperative!

- The first round will be over at 11:59PM (Eastern Standard Time) January the 31st! I will be picking 10 songs to make it into the second round

- You may submit up to three submissions before the February due date to increase your chances of making it into the top ten

- Your song MUST be an original creation under 1:05 Minutes in length. (5 seconds is your grace time, try your very best to keep your song under 1 minute)

- The song you submit must be PG! With that said, all genres of music are allowed (the more the merry, really)

- Your submissions must be uploaded onto FA, and linked to me in this journal to be considered!

- Only one of your songs can make it into the second round.

Funny story: These "songs" are actually part of a larger song that I had originally started for the express purpose of this contest. It's hard to make a song less than a minute when your genre is trance so I made sound bytes of the meat of the song. I hope you enjoy them!

Yep, all 3 played on my bass, all 3 edging the border of a minute. First two were done in one take, the last done in two. Everything was practiced, played, and recorded the first 20 minutes; the hard part was finding a converter for my phone to make voice memos into .mp3 files
