During the month of December, it had been really hectic during the holidays with Christmas and then New Years a week after. I figured I would be able to relax a bit during January, seeing as I didn't have anything major to plan. I'm the Activities Director at a nursing home. I plan out the calender, work on care plans and a lot of other things. I love my job a lot more than being a Cook. It's less stressful than being a cook and that's saying a LOT.

Anyways, Thursday rolls around and I'm happy since I am off Friday and Saturdays. I went to do an assessment with someone and my boss walks by the room I'm in and tells me corporate is here. My heart literally sank to my chest. I was in the kitchen as a cook last year when they came in, and I learned it's the same team as last year.

From what they are telling me, they are wanting to watch the activities today and I'm just really nervous. I'm new at what I do and I need more training, and they know this. Everyone tells me I'll be fine but I just can't help it ;-; lol I really don't want to go into work today but I have to.

I can't wait for today to be over so I can have at least one day of rest before working Manager on Duty on Sunday.
