WOO Friday again! And it's off to a good start - someone left chocolate cake for everyone at work. :D So this is the first Paw-mail that will start with the "Character Highlight" section. Next Friday will be the Artist Highlight and it will then just keep alternating back and forth.
For the Character Highlight, I've done it in such a way as to give a basic summary of the character, their attributes and some details about them. These highlights are for the character, not necessarily the person behind the character. I say not necessarily because some people do identify with the their characters and consider them one and the same, and some don't. Anyway, you are welcome to give feedback either via e-mail or on the journal copies and the character owner will likely enjoy having a look. At the end of the Character Highlight section there is a bit about commentary types that the character/person enjoys or dislikes. I may also add that to the Artist section so that it's better known what sort of comments are appreciated or not. Bear in mind that some people like sexually suggestive commentary, and some don't (as recently mentioned in the artist highlight for Vallhund). Hence the "TCO!" tag in the Legend. Anyway! Let's get started. I have no "Fur in Need" to add for today, so off we go:

1st pic: Colour version of the pre-holiday pic! Oh man... look at those awesome footpaws all coloured up. Arctic's character has full sole pads (which is just yummy on a plantigrade).
2nd pic: Dang... now that's a lucky mouse! Getting some nice paw time under that grinning tiger's huge toes.

An awesome picture of the anthro version of the character Cynphira. A very pretty dragon who also has some awfully nice footpaws. Really love the look of pads on a dragon - so cool! Also a neat design around the eyes with the dark patch.

A Suicine (human-ish Pokemon) character with gorgeous feet! Normally human-style feet are not as big a draw to me, but in this case, they are divinely drawn. The shape, taper of the toes and different poses of them are just gorgeous. Also cool is the sexy jewellery that she's wearing on them. :) Very pretty character.

Actual human (drawing anyway) of Terrie. Normally human pics don't really work for me, but this one sure does. I think it's that unique post of how she's holding her feet together. First off, she's got nice looking feet with great proportions and all, it's a nice sole view, and together like that just looks so inviting. She's also kinda showing off some other stuff, but if you're like me you probably didn't notice that initially. XD

I believe the shark on the left is female. Two very cool shark characters at any rate, and AMAZING footpaws. Laukka did an incredible job on them - so many beautiful detail lines in the soles, and each character holding them in different poses too. Almost looks like they're posing for someone. And I do love their smiles - no one grins quite as good as a shark. ;)

There are a lot of characters in the fandom with amazing footpaws, and some of them are even into paws. Those two qualities are exquisitely represented in the stunningly beautiful Sera, which made her the perfect choice to start the character highlights in the Paw-Mails. I'm extra fortunate as well that Sera is a wonderful friend whom I've had the fortune to come to know in the last year. ^_^
Detailed Summary: Sera is a Wolf-dragon hybrid with more of the dragon showing through than wolf. Her footpaws have four large toes tightly around a smooth, plush ball pad, and like a feline, her pads are very soft and smooth, yet very tough. She prefers to always be bare-pawed, even when in full combat gear. She is a highly trained soldier that is part of an elite special operations squad. Highly proficient and martial arts and all manner of weapons, Sera is probably the last thing you see if you're one of her enemies. Her personality as a soldier is starkly different than other times; cold, efficient, purposeful.
Outside of her military work, she reverts to a very sweet, often very bashful lady who has one very strong attraction to paws! She is a pawsexual, in that the majority of her arousal is derived from footpaws, and bisexual in her attraction to genders. Important to note however is that her attraction to paws is 100% lesbian. A lady with a beautiful set of paws at Sera's snout will pretty much render her mesmerized and be an instant turn on. Next to footpaws, her next largest turn on is probably being eaten, so vore. But don't worry! She's a tough little dragon and once inside someone's belly, she slips into a hibernation state and her skin secrets a sort of irritant that makes them bring her back up. Good for her, maybe not so good for the one that tried to eat her. XD Other interests are more conventional sexual ones, though they hold far less appeal to her.
Clothing wise, there are only three main types of things Sera will wear: 1) Her combat gear, 2) shorts and a light t-shirt when not on duty, and 3) nothing. She prefers the latter, as clothing feels very odd to her.
Commenting on Submissions: I feel this an important thing to add since people have different comfort levels with how other comment on images and stories of their characters. Sera loves to get comments on her pictures in terms of the quality of the image, the topic, how the paws look, etc. Complimentary things are always appreciated! When asked about comments to refrain from, she said "Sexually suggestive commentary towards her, creepy comments, wanting to join in or to be next on whatever's going on in the picture are not so appreciated, even considered rude and offensive." Sera is an immensely personal character for her player, so just be respectful (technically, good advice for commenting on anyone's picture).

And glad you liked the highlight, though, that's actually the super-short version. Having worked with Sera so closely for the last year on the GW2-based story of her meeting Nyrri, I really have a deep understanding of Sera, so trying to sum it up in something that could fit on a page was hard!
I think these character highlights are gonna be fun - all too often people see the characters all the time on FA, but rarely do they know much about them. :)
Anyways yes! It was a new twist to what you normally do which is very nice and actualy promotes more characters that some of us don't know/see. So naturally new stuff = yay! :D. So here's to hoping for more awesome stuff! :D

In real life, I am a Network Admin/Engineer, but writing and story-telling has always been my real passion. What I wrote about Sera is actually quite short! As a good friend, I know Sera's character extremely well, so trying to compress what she is into a short few paragraphs is quite challenging. There will be a story coming out soon that has Sera and my charr character Nyrri in it, which is about 60 pages; that will paint one of the clearest pictures of her, I think. :)
Any feedback in particular on Sera - I know she's been interested in what people might think. And as fate would have it, this has been a quieter than normal paw-mail for feedback.
I do remain really interested and excited to see who else gets featured on the character highlight in the future. ^^ Eager to know more of all these fellow spiffy paw-loving friends of yours! ^^
As for Sera, I must admit I've always found her a very attractive and compelling character. :) The artwork she commissions tends to have a high probability of getting insta-faved when I come across it, since she has amazingly good taste in both artists and subject matter. I've long been struck by how similar her paws are designed to my own, so I am obviously a huge fan of them. ^^ And of course she's just generally a really interesting character with some fascinating ideas behind her... not least the clever way she's able to enjoy and experience vore, while getting around the obvious troublesome side effects. Much of the art I've seen involving her and vore has had an effect on me, of forcing me to go 'yeah, I don't generally consider myself particularly into vore but... that there is actually very compelling.'
So all in all, it's safe to say that I am a fan. ^,,^
And that's an awesome breakdown of Sera! Certainly felt much the same about - including the vore stuff. Very glad she's been that sort of influence for you and likely many others as well. :) And yes - similar paws and pads! Right down to the blueberry thing. *winks*
Sera's definitely been a neat influence that way, definitely one of my favourite characters to see in art around these parts. And yay for blueberry paws!
