Because it's hard to decide on what is better for each one. I'd rather stick with one.

Imo auctions are better because they give the chance to get them even after hours/days of the adoptable being posted, while a flat price would go to whoever sees it first and has the money ready.

True. Should I then up the auto buy option? Because so far the last 2 I did an auction for with an auto buy they were bought within an hour or so.

Well, I see nothing wrong if someone AB them, Ebay does the same thing and no one mature enough complains about it xD I mean, if someone wants to win an auction at all costs they'll go for the AB as soon as they can, I've seen people AB as the first bid xD
The price for the AB is your choice, $100 is a good amount that leaves space to bids without being too high, but I've seen not-so-original adoptables go for far more, so...

Also you should take into account the quality of the adoptable you've drawn, something more than a chibi or a particular/rare design should cost more by default.

Yeah. I know when I draw a chibi with its were form it will go for a lot more. Just right now I know I'll mainly stick with chibis.

I usually do things by auction with an auto-buy. That way if someone wants to pay the full price cause they need that creature/design or even ych pose that instant and has the money the option is there. But, having it be an auction also gives anyone the chance to get the creature/design/pose. ^^

Yah. The question now is what kind of auto buy I should go for. xD As the demand goes up I'll have to make it more and more expensive. I know in time I'll have customs as well.

hm.. I always put my auto-buy at actual cost/time spent. Like.. ideal wage is 10$/hr, and if it will take/took me 6 hours to draw something, I'd make the auto-buy $60. But you are right about upping the price as demand goes up. I dunno maybe actual time cost may be a place to start, then go up from there? Pricing art is always such an ever-changing thing. Adjusting, tweaking, so much to think about. XD Good luck though, in finding what works for you.

I say stick with $100 for the auto buy and if it happens that alot of people just autobuy raise it a bit. Seems fair since its lower then most and the quality is freaking awesome

You could probably stick with auctions and once in a blue moon throw out a flat price.
