The people there can be really unreasonably mean. Good thing is that the vast majority of their opinions make absolutely no sense and are often embarrassing for the poster
That and rule 34 you would think that with the amount of people commenting on art that they inherently are not attracted to anyway that these sites are actually big giant stadiums filled with people all jacking off, one giant monitor displaying picture after picture regardless of context and everyone just shouts their opinion in horny rage

Someone posted a pic of the Mane Six in their human forms, showing their soles off to the "camera"; it got a tremendous number of down votes (which may have had to do with it being B-, C+ art?), but in contrast, a pic of one of the ponies with a full, stinking diaper received tons of upvotes. An anon summarized it with a satirical pic showing both posted images, and the text "Eww! Ponies with feet! That's disgusting!" / "OMG, she has a full diaper, HAWT", or something like that >_>
I see it on FA sometimes too, but there's so much more lurking on e621 and Derpibooru :-P People suck, lol
