Maybe they did but didn't show them. I remember 'Sci-Fi Buzz' at worst would show silly fans, but not 'out there' or obviously crazy ones that would be too much for the audience at the time.

The days when the media had this really bizarre idea that news was informational and occasionally sensational, and not the other way around.

I'm afraid I've never been married to a Lisa, if you mean Lisa Jennings/Iennacco/Sample, we were housemates for an extended period, but even much of that was after she married Ken "Cougr" Sample.

Yeah. My mistake on that. Seems that since you & Ken's weddings were so close together it got a little mashed up in the memory.

Perhaps the reason why "SciFi Buzz" and "Lisa Iennaco" got so ingrained together into my memory was because of the fandom legend that while SFB was filming there, they had to stop filming a lot because Lisa's pre-Ken ex Mark Iennaco was constantly interrupting with his bellowing of "LISAAAAAA!" throughout the hotel while looking for her (he seemed to be the very possessive abusive husband type).

Other fanny legend had it that he was making some very creepy sexual demands of her so that one day while he was at work, she and her friends got together to move her stuff out so that by the time Mark got back home, all he found was a letter from her telling him that she was going to seek a divorce (as well as a few......other things that was on her mind). Mark seemed to have dropped off the radar after that point and hasn't been heard of again.

Again, you know how furry fan rumor-milling can be, so I don't know what the true story was.

Oh dear ...that's a legend/rumor bubble I should pop, then:
Lisa and Mark were going to marriage-counseling, and it was plainly not going well. In a separate session with the counselor, Mark informed the counselor that if Lisa left him, he'd kill himself. It was complete bullshit, but the counselor decided to remand Mark for psychiatric observation. Lisa had had enough of the theatrics; she called a number of friends, myself included, we drove down from San Fran, rented a truck and packed her things. Mark was released from the psych-ward the next day, and showed up back home while we were packing the truck. They had a private discussion, but whatever was said, Lisa didn't change her mind, we finished packing her things and we left, me driving the truck, Lisa riding shotgun, and a small escort of cars. She moved in for a somewhat extended period with a local couple, one of whom was known to be a Sheriff's Deputy, which was hoped would keep the riffraff (including Mark) away.

At least the details of the breakup are corrected.

What about the other stuff, like about him continually disrupting the SFB filming because he kept yelling for Lisa off in the background (like as if the moment she was out of his sight he'd immediately think she was fooling around), or the almost GORean way he handled her during the marriage?

I can't say for certain that Mark interrupted the SFB filming, although he *did* spend an undue amount of time bellowing for Lisa, and he was quite disruptive - Mark was a big guy and his voice carried on top of the sheer volume. I can't/won't speculate on the details of their marriage; it never seemed like something to ask her about when they were married and once they were separated it seemed like something that would be best put behind her. At best I can say that he was often rude, dismissive and intimidating towards her, much to the ire of her friends. But it was her choice to stay married to him, and we respected that choice until she chose otherwise.

Welp, at least my memory is fine-tuned in this regard. Thanks for the corrections.

I recognized so many people in that video that I can't even begin to list them.
Aside from the overwhelming flood of familiar faces, I'm really saddened by all the ones who aren't with us anymore.

Theres a few who have just disappeared without a trace, but theres lots more who have passed away.
