Pokemon: Aurora
This will not be a hack game but more a self built game like people have been seeing recently, (i.e. pokemon insurance and uranium) so it will be a Pc/MAC based game.
using some ideas from gens 1-6 like running shoes, pokemon following you around, etc... are just some of what we want to do. but here is the thing we want to add whole lot more!
the regions we have listed are Kanto, Johto, Hoenn (most likely remake), Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Orre, and even some of the ranger regions. nothing officially has begun as of yet, but mostly brainstorming is whats being done.
this game will be free, cause if we made people pay for it then we would probably get sued...., and will most likely use the BW engine because the 3D performance of ORAS might be pushing things...
any ideas submitted will be taken into consideration, but be sure to be practical. nothing pushing to many limits. this will also try and remain current at least 1 year after the latest generation has been released to allow time to code and avoid any possible conflict.
some ideas that have been put out by us that might have already been used:
running shoes
pokemon walks behind you and has interaction
post game content
no HMs, (using items to pass obstacles like a hatchet for cut)
revamp of many pokemon's stats or movesets (like flareon) to better suit for battle and make a more balanced game where all non legendary can be used.
possible clothing style mods (like X and Y)
choose your trainer sprite based on selection at the beginning (meaning walk around as dawn or gold through every region)
pick your home region to begin your journey
literally catch every base pokemon (stage 1 evolution and some stage 2) in the game. (meaning you can find starters in the wild)
Player house that can be customized with decorations. (like a secret base)
instead of first pokemon listed being sent out, you select which to send out.
actually returning your pokemon when the battle ends.
stat checkers, iv checkers, possible move checkers in the daycare, and possibly no egg breeding. (meaning live birth pokemon)
