The Art of Gothic
Came across a book today - The Art of Gothic by Natasha Scharf. It is essentially about the history of the gothic subculture, it's inspirations, history, evolution and subgenres.
Of particular interest to me (and the rest of us I imagine) was the chapter on Cybergoths. Nothing that I did not know in general but reading about the specifics of Cybergoth's emergence was interesting. Have only skimmed over the rest of the book and it seems quite good. It was also linked to an exhibition in London that I have been meaning to go.
In any case, if you come across this book, I would recommend it.
Here is a video by the author talking about it.
