So I've been in the UK a month...
Saw a few friends at an event in Birmingham which was a nice full on welcome to the UK because until then I had been hanging out around the house trying to adjust after severe jet lag so seeing my friends perked me up and got me on a bit more normal schedule.
Had an awesome Christmas with my soon to be in laws. Fiance's niece and his parent's dog adore me so everyone else has accepted me with open arms.
Fell horridly ill the day after Christmas and I am still fighting the last bit of it. Poor fiancee caught it a week after I did and even had to miss a day of work when he nearly passed out after his shower. Luckily he is getting better slowly but surely as well.
Went to the British museum on Monday and saw their amazing exhibit on the Gothic Imagination which was just fantastic and I went with my friend/SO's best (wo)man.
The month has definitely had it's ups and downs and I miss my dog terribly but I'm doing well so yay!
