Plan For a Fresh Start

So... how's everyone's new year been so far? Just thought I'd ask because it gives me a reason to post a journal ;p
Apart from that, I thought I'd let my watchers know I'll be going away for a couple of weeks on the 25th. I'll be going to Tunisia, you know... the place where Luke Skywalker once lived, in a galaxy far far away. I had a holiday there back in 2002, and was my second holiday abroad. I'll be going with my mother and one of my bros, as well as a couple of of family friends. So, it'll be a family holiday, the first one in years. This should give me a chance to reflect on the things that have happened since my last holiday over four years ago, that's longer than I've been on DA! In turn, this will allow me to clear my mind, so I can think about what I'll do when I get back. This new year has'nt been particularly promising for me. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of time for a positive and productive year yet, but my mind feels garbled and un focused right now and I'm generally lacking motivation. So, the idea is for me is to come back feeling fresh and new.
This has also given me a good reason to invest in a decent camera. I got myself a Canon EOS 700D, so I'll be bringing that with me. The last camera I had was a NIKON Coolpix compact, and it was sucky... so very sucky ^^; Now I have the capacity to take good photographs.
In the meantime, I'll continue with the character rig for my 3D character "Bubbles" Right now, he's my only hope. That is the only priority I'm able to focus on right now, hense my lack of motivation to achieve anything else besides that :p
Well... all I have to do now is sort out my travel insurance and pack my bags. Here's to a relaxing and productive 2015!
